Unique Office Guests

Saturdays are usually the best days to be at the office because you can get a lot of work done and for some reason, it just feels so much more laid back. Time isn't as tight and deadlines aren't usually approaching as fast. With tonight's [Fashion Has Heart] kick-off event at the JW Marriott, this Saturday wasn't quite as peaceful, but we still found some time to enjoy it. We had a couple special guests stop by and thought a few pictures would be mildly entertaining.

Those are 28" rims, haha. They had to cut parts of the fender off to fit the wheels on. Crazy.

For those who were unable to make the Space event last Friday and want to see more than just a few pictures, here's a nice short recap video of some of the evening's happenings.

Space: Live Art + Live Music

Last Friday was the first of many Space events. Space is an event concept in Grand Rapids that features live art and live music. There are a number artists working in different mediums that have 90 minutes to start and finish a piece of art. I was fortunate enough to participate as an artist in this first event. I worked on a pair of shoes to benefit the [Fashion Has Heart] nonprofit. Unfortunately, 90 minutes is an impossible deadline to even come close to finishing one shoe, let alone a pair. I did, however, get a good start on them. Once the shoes are completed, they will be part of a special [Fashion Has Heart] launch/fundraiser event on June 25th at the JW Marriott -- but that's a different story for a different time.

I had a great time and enjoyed interacting with those in attendance at Space. Thanks to all for the support, and to both Josh and Josh for putting it on for all of us to enjoy! The next Space event in July 8th. Stay posted for more special events, as well -- wink, wink.
