Mike Posner at GVSU

Last night, Mike Posner made another trip back to Grand Rapids for a show. This time, it was at Grand Valley State University as part of their Homecoming festivities. He put on a great show, not just concert. This was by far his best, and most elaborate performance I've ever seen. He brought with him an entire crew, including a couple DJ's that helped create a full stage presence. It's been fun to watch his continual improvement as an artist and as a professional since 2008.

Posner is no stranger to this blog, by any means. He's a Michigan-made talent that is living his dream. I've seen him perform live at least 5 or 6 times, if not more, these past 2 or 3 of years. I dug up a couple of previous blog posts from his past shows: Grand Rapids (04/22/10), Ferris State University (04/27/10), Central Michigan University (02/26/11) Part I and Part II.

The most exciting part is that is just a few weeks, he'll be releasing a new mixtape, The Layover. I'd be this one promises to be his best yet. Keep supporting Michigan!
