Souldub NEW Mixtape: Catchabuzz

It seems like it's been awhile since I've heard from my guys from Souldub, but I was extremely excited to find out today that their long awaited mixtape project, "Catchabuzz" is complete and set to release on June 1st. When I saw that I said to myself, "Yes! That's awesome I cannot wait to hear it!" Then I said to myself, "Crap! It doesn't come out until June 1st; noooo!" I clicked their "PREVIEW" link that at least let me get snippets of the tracks, but then Rich (their lead singer) hit me with the full mixtape. I just finished downloading it and already am putting it into my ipod. I am sure I'll provide you all with my unofficially professional review of it. The mixtape cover is pretty darn nasty as well. The detail of the artwork is nutzo! If you look close enough, you can see each band member as one of the superheroes. Very, very fresh.

Mike Posner: FSU Concert

After the Grand Rapids show Wednesday night, we dropped Mike and his tour manager, Pat, off at the Grand Rapids airport Thursday morning. From there they flew to Indiana University where he performed in front of over 3,000 students that night. The next morning they traveled to Kansas to do another performance that night. Then again the next morning they flew back up to Michigan to do a show at the Ferris Fest that same afternoon. Now that is putting in work, ladies and gents!

Anyways, Mike came through and put on another amazing show. This time he had Big Sean with him for a few of his songs. Also, the "We Run FSU" shirts made their first public appearance on the stage before and after Mike's set. The Ferris students went nutzo over the shirts! They had no idea about them; their campus has been buzzing ever since not only about the concert, but also about, "Where'd can I get one of those shirts?!" I have a few left available to purchase on the T.WAY webstore: shop.TWAYcollection.com. At the moment some sizes may be sold out, so you better check up real quick and try to get one before they are all sold out!

I will say it again and again. If you are not yet up on Mike Posner or Big Sean, then you need to get up and support these dudes. They are definitely the future of the music scene, and better yet, they are from the Mitten! Let's go Michigan, support your own! And don't forget, "We Run FSU" shirts available here: www.shop.TWAYcollection.com

The T.WAY Girlz!!!

These beautiful ladies chose to do a case study for their advertising class at GVSU about the T.WAY brand. I really don't know how I can further explain this without you just watching their viral marketing video, haha. They did report to me that they received a perfect 100% on the project! Congrats ladies! HAHAA

Mike Posner: Grand Rapids Concert

We finally got Mike Posner to come to Grand Rapids to put on a show. The ladies loved him, the fellas loved him - it was an all around great performance, as always. Wednesday we scooped him up from the airport, he had a radio interview with 104.5 WSNX, did a Meet & Greet at the GVSU campus, then put on a great concert that same night. Today (Thursday), we dropped him off at the airport so that he could do it all over again, but this time at Indiana University.

Make sure to support this dude because he is working his butt off to give you guys what you want. He is crazy talented and has the work ethic to match. Visit www.MikePosner.com for all of the info about up-coming shows and for FREE music downloads.

Hahaa, this is one of favorites that I had to censor for children's eyes!

Red Wing Shoes - Handmade in the Midwest

I don't think I have to do a lot of explaining on this post. The video and craftsmanship speak for itself.

T.WAY collection Single Now Available for Download!

Remember the T.WayCustoms track from a few years ago? Well now with the transition into the T.WAY collection, comes a new soundtrack of life. Once again my good, good dude, Joe Buys, came through and hit us with some great verses. This being the second single off of his up-coming mixtape project called, "When I Grow Up," we decided to make this song available for a FREE download. All you have to do is get to his site and download the song to place in your iTunes playlists. Make sure to also burn it on a CD and share it with friends! Thanks again to Joe Buys and his musical talents, and of course, thank you for your support! (We have much more coming for you with this mixtape, so stay posted for more goodies!)

"We Run MSU" (by T.WAY) Shirts Being Seen

Thanks to our new friend Rachelle who recently purchased her own "We Run MSU" shirt before heading to Indy for the Final Four. Unfortunately Michigan State did not make it all the way, but their run was very impressive none the less. Congrats to them, and thank you to Rachelle for the great support! It is much appreciated!

Joe Buys is no stranger to anyone who has been tuned into the T.WAY brand over the past couple years. He's been out in LA for over a year now making his dreams come true, and in the mean time was able to rep his "We Run MSU" shirt on the streets of LA and even at a recent party in Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory.

Nike's New Tiger Woods Advertisement

There's no secret, other than ones Tiger might be keeping from us, about his situation. It's been all over the news since Thanksgiving. But as the much anticipated Masters start today, and as Tiger tees off within the hour of this post, there continues to be much scrutiny around his personal and professional life. This commercial from Nike seems to cut deep, especially since the audio is from his dad that had passed a few years ago...

Hand Painting??...

Maybe I should get into custom hand painting as well as the sneakers and canvas work...??? Haha. This video is pretty interesting as they take a look inside the new AT&T campaign. Watch for yourself:

Duke: 2010 NCAA Basketball Champions - WOW

Last night was the best championship game I can recall seeing in my 23 years of existence. Like most other people, I wasn't sure what to expect. Michigan State vs. Duke would have been a much sexier game, but I have to admit, Butler put up a great fight. I won't break the game down anymore than the analysts have already done, but I did find this video that straight up gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. It was shot by someone watching the game at Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium. I can only imagine how crazy the atmosphere was in there and don't even want to know the celebration madness that went on all throughout the night...haha

Joe Buys New Single - The One

My dude Joe Buys just released the single to his next mixtape project entitled, "When I Grow Up." This track is a freestyle remix of Mary J. Blige and is titled, "The One." Download it at his site: www.joebuysmusic.com. And yes, all the design work was completed by yours truly.

Dreams Don't Happen Overnight...

Ok, so dreams do happen overnight usually...but not this type of dream. This kind of dream takes hours and hours, days, weeks, months, and even years. Just the other night I was working on stuff till around 1 or 2am'ish (Eastern time) and had to get some sleep. The next morning I was up at like 5am (Eastern time) to get work done. Everyone who knows me probably knows my good, good friend, Joe Buys. He's out in Los Angeles chasing his dream of music. So by the time I go to bed, get three hours of sleep, and wake up again, Joe still has not gone to bed yet, haha. That reminded me of what it takes to make a dream come true. Sleep is great to have dreams, but you gotta be awake and working your butt off to make those dreams actually come true. Continue to chase after your dreams and don't let anything or anyone get in your way. As Joe always says, Dream Impossible.

Corporations Can Have Humor

I love how Nike (and their ad agency W+K) have humor. Most corporations lose that sense of humor and replace it with mind-numbing boring'ness. But Nike has always harnessed it and used it for good. This time around they did so to explain their Nike Air technology. A few different Nike-sponsored athletes make an appearance as well as David Koechner making a cameo as the spokesperson behind the Nike Air cultivation process.
