Not Always As Planned...

Yoaa people. Today we were going to film a spotlight interview with one of my favorite players & the all around nicest person. You know who it is yet? Ivory Latta - an incredible guard from UNC drafted by the Detroit Shock who is now a second year star for the expansion Atlanta Dream. They just played in Connecticut on Friday night and were supposed to arrive in Detroit early Saturday afternoon for tomorrow's game. But of course, especially with the always questionable airline industry, things never go as planned. Long story short, we'll figure out one way or another to introduce you to her, because you're gonna absolutely love her. Keep it posted.

New Sneakers Added

New additions have been added to the website. One is just in time for those summer trips on the yacht in Northern Michigan while the other is perfect for those casual summer nights out on the town. Visit http://www.twaycustoms.net, click on the "Sneakers" section, then proceed to the "Photo Gallery" and choose "GalleryTwo" to view the canvas-shoe additions to the T.WayCustoms collection.

Congrats to Tayshaun!

T.WayCustoms would like to publicly congratulate the Pistons' Tayshaun Prince for being named a member of the 12-man roster for the 2008 United States Olympic team. Not only will he be representing our country and the Detroit Pistons, but also T.WayCustoms. We couldn't have picked a more well-rounded player or an all around great guy. Good luck to him & the rest of the team!

Creative Rec Red Carpet event @ ACK

So I've been in Grand Rapids for a few days for a few reasons. First, Saturday night I attended the Creative Recreation sneaker-brand event at the All City Kicks sneaker & clothing boutique. They had the red carpet out front and everything, it was put together real well & they showed T.WayCustoms some good love on the DJ mic & in their program - so that makes the night even that much better. Shout out to ACK: JStew, Vic, Ryan, James, etc.

The picture I obtained from a third party cause my camera wasn't pulling through, but it displays owners JStew & Vic from ACK being interviewed as the people were arriving. Like I said, it was a dope event and they did it right along with the Creative Recreation brand out of CA.

My First Blog Post

Since this is my first blog post, I thought I'd just do a quick introduction of myself & the T.WayCustoms brand. It started in my freshman dorm with a Sharpie marker and a pair of sneakers. After almost 2 years of R&D, T.WayCustoms was born. T.WayCustoms is more than just a custom sneaker company or a clothing line in its beginning stages, but more importantly it's a lifestyle brand that represents the good life. Unfortunately that's all you get for today/tonight, it's time for the NBA Finals (even tho my Stones got booted by the Celtics, I'm anticipating a historic series). But stay posted for further developments, much more stufffff to come.

God bless & be easy!
