Frozen 'Nanas

Michigan is known for our four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Sometimes the season changes are gradual, while other times one day it's 70 and sunny and the next day 32 degrees and literally freezing. Last night after I got out of a night class around 9PM, I did some quick grocery shopping on my way from downtown. One of my items were my usual bananas for my mornings of cereal, toast, and coffee. However, instead of heading right home I visited Adrienne for a couple hours at her apartment to have a study session & get some work done. Yes, I left my groceries in the car because I knew they'd stay chilled. Little did I consider that by the time I was leaving, we were getting hit by the freezing lake affect snow from Lake Michigan just a few miles away. Short story long, my bananas did not survive their temporary parking lot residence. And the result...banana bread most likely in my future. Moral of the story: Michigan weather sucks, and ALWAYS take your bananas with you.
