During the trip to the Nike Headquarters in early August, they took us into the secret Brand Jordan sneaker closet that houses all the samples of their future products. This place was just about as close as you can get to heaven on earth - the "new sneaker" smell alone could make you go crazy. Anyways, the Footwear Global Director (don't quote me on her official title) gave me this pair of the Jordan 1. She described it as a project that celebrates Jordans six titles by releasing a shoe for each opposing team he defeated. This certain shoe celebrates his 4th title run against the Seattle Supersonics.
